*Update*
You may have last seen Alex Deborgorski on season two of Ice Road Truckers as he was being taken to the hospital. He had an atrial fibrillation but has made full recovery. March 8th, 2008 at 7:29 pmJust watched Season 2 Episode 5 and watched how you missed the turnoff….why can’t the bosses with years of experience, at least say…”go down the road 54Km and take a right”… at least then you(or anyone else for that matter!) would have known where to turn.
Keep on trucking Big Buddy!
July 7th, 2008 at 7:20 amDear Mr. Debogorski
July 15th, 2008 at 4:43 pmI have watched you drive your truck for the last two years. You are like a symphony maestro who knows every twitch of the baton, only you use your head, arms and feet in perfect symphony with each other. You can coach the tires on your truck to within a few millimeters near the edge of the platform, next to the drilling hole. I love your laugh and outlook on life, and you are not afraid to show how deeply your faith as kept you going. I wish you “God Speed Ahead” in every battle that you encounter in life. A devoted fan of all “The Ice Road Truckers” who are like modern pony express riders of the “Old West”.You just take your load and go. What a trip it is as you leave the rest of us breathless just to watch you.
Alex, just want to let you know that our family admires your values and work ethic. You are a fine example for my 14 year old son. We enjoy your attitude towards life and hope all is well with your health. Be proud of the changes you have made in your life and know that you do make a good impression on the viewers.
July 21st, 2008 at 1:44 amMr. Debogorski,
July 21st, 2008 at 6:48 amYou are one of my favorites. Nothing phony about you.
Was wondering how to find out how your health is doing?
The last episode had them flying you to Yellow Knife due to a possible blood clot in a lung. Best wishes for you and your family. I pray all is well.
I too would like to Know about Alex’s health. Is there a way to contact Alex? Ryan

You are one of our favorite truckers. You have such a big heart and are a pleasure to watch. We enjoy the show so much and will miss you this season. Hope you will be able to come back.
July 28th, 2008 at 3:43 pmWonder how we could get an update on Mr Debogorski without waiting for the next episode of Iceroad Truckers? Obviously we are dealing with very old info.
July 28th, 2008 at 7:10 pmI would hope that Alex and his family are able to get all the good wishes and prayers that his “tv family” has sent. Alex and the truckers come to our living rooms and become part of a ritual. We sit as a family to watch the show and as a nurse myself, I wish all the best to Alex. Listen to the “medicine me” and take it easy. Your family has been blessed to have such a dedicated hard working man sit at the head of the table. May God Bless You and Yours!

Your humor and concern is a great attribute to yourself. Your faith and prayer is something you don’t see, but you have surely showed the world that there are still good Christian. God’s speed.

August 24th, 2008 at 7:19 pmWe watch Ice road truckers a lot, last we seen Alex was on his way to the hospital. Nothing else has been said about him. We are faithful fans of himself, and would like to know what has happened and if he is ok and planning to return to the next season of Ice road truckers. Thank you
August 25th, 2008 at 7:05 pmI am 50 y/o. I grew up in the Pacific North West with thrucking. I do not like the show you do. Take a 48′ 102′ into Happy Camp CA. Trucker “survivers”, I guess that is how you and ‘them’ make your living, as sorta ‘trucker’ (a hisrory channel verson)The BS and the games that are played in that fanancy/real life. I have hired >200 drivers, and one that treaten me, fired, gone.
September 3rd, 2008 at 1:44 amI’m very glad to see that Alex is doing better. He is by far the most interesting trucker on the show, a real down to earth guy.
September 3rd, 2008 at 5:13 pmI think that you should do a show just about Alex and his family.
Blessed Be to him and his.
I am very pleased to hear that Alex is out of the hospital and doing better. My wife and I enjoy the show very much and though we like all the guys, we really love Alex and think he is a great inspiration and example for us all to follow.
Glad you are doing better Alex! Keep on truckin’!
