You should have been called the iceman, not because you work in the freezing Arctic but because you are Cold as Ice. I mean that in a good way. I hear the other guys whine and complain about the conditions. Others bitch because they set out with a load of garbage.But you just keep on trucking even if you have a tanker full of $%&*. I just retire after 26 years in the U.S. Army. All working with, on and around heavey machinery and trucks in all types of weather, -30 to 140 F. I would like to know how to apply for a job driving the ice roads. I do have a CDL issued in Washington State. I’ve had it for about 8 years now.

Hello i am very interesred in the ice roads,i have done as much research as i possibly can.I dont want to dissapoint myself or anyone else.My reasons for wanting to drive the ice roads are monetary.I am 49 and would like to retire in approx ten years,only problem is i am broke.So Alex may haul the first load but i will haul the last load.I have 18 years of experience,mostly logs in northern B.C.Am currently driving super B and hate it .Contact my email address if you are interested for my resume.Guaranteed drug free!

I drove between Fairbanks, Ak and the Artic Ocean. My truck broke through the ice one morning the water was just below the door. I drove out, my rig had front axle transfer case. The only problem coming up out, the water froze and I couldn’t steer had a broken air line but we didn’t get wet, we radioed the hook and we were back in business
after a little attention
i can drive that ice road give me a shout

hugh i really enjoyed watching you guys each week..i have an unusual request for you..arthritis has taken me off the road for the most part..i still drive occasionally from upstate ny to mississipp,but need time between runs to heal..i’m 53 and have spent 27 years over the road,close to 3 million miles and all without an accident..i would love to make a run with you while i’m still physically able to do so..can you make this happen for me..anyway be safe out there and God Bless my freind..
