Watch Ice Road Truckers Season 2 This Summer
Ice Road Truckers is back for a second season! Season 2 of the series will air this summer and is being filmed in a location that may even be colder and more harsh than Yellowknife. Ice Road Truckers Season 2 takes place in two remote villages that are over 100 miles north of the Artic Circle - Inuvik (population 3,400) and Tuktoyaktuk (population 870). The producer of the show mentioned recently that when he got off the plane and it was -50 degrees Celsius with the windchill.
Four Ice Road Trucking veterans from Season 1 will be back this time and have joined some local companies to try to tackle this new road. In addition to fighting the cold and the conditions, I’m sure they’ll have some run-ins with other drivers from the area who probably won’t like these new guys very much. According to rumors, one of the veteran Ice Road drivers from last season doesn’t even make it through the first day this time.
This season is going to be awesome! I can’t wait to see who surives the ice roads to make big money and who goes home because they can’t handle the brutal conditions.
